Juan Moreno
Juan Moreno is a flamenco guitarist and composer from Jaén, known for his traditional playing combined with contemporary sounds. Largely self-taught, he went on to study at the “Rafael Orozco” Higher Conservatory of Music in Córdoba and refined his technique with masters such as Tomatito, Manuel Parrilla and Gerardo Núñez.
From a very young age he has accompanied singers and dancers at flamenco festivals, peñas (flamenco clubs) and tablaos, performing both in Spain and in countries such as Germany, Finland and Brazil.
His style stands out for its melodic and harmonic care, while always keeping the essence of flamenco. As well as performing, Juan Moreno is also an accomplished composer and teacher, and regularly takes part in flamenco seasons and evenings in Jaén.
